Well I missed posting here last week. Mainly because posting about a half pound loss seemed rather fraudulent somehow. However, I did learn that this is where the importance of attending group comes in. If I had been just plodding on at home alone then a half pound loss might not even have registered on my scales! Depression would have started to creep in, I'd have felt despondent and before you know it I would have been sitting on the sofa comfort eating my way through a packet of biscuits and starting the whole horrid vicious circle all over again!
As it was the support of the group and the been there done that tales of others meant that I didn't lose heart. I hung on in there, worked my recipe books and changed things up a bit. And it was all for the best as this week I had a four and a half pound loss! THRILLED! Beyond thrilled actually.
It just goes to show that you shouldn't worry if it is a low or non existent loss one week as the next can bring amazing things for you and more than make up for the low number the week before.

I completely agree with this... I often have very little for 2 or 3 weeks and then a big loss. It kind of evens out into an average of 1-2lbs a week (more like 2-3lbs in the first 6 months). Well done Gemma - that's ace!

I realized I hadn't checked in on you here for a bit and then I popped over and saw 25lb total - which just blows me away. Well done you!
